Using<br \/>\npre-made templates (\u201cforms\u201d), tablets are used to collect in a standardized manner field data<br \/>\nsuch as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Field inspections<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Routine visits<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Ground fall investigations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Conformity checks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Requested inspections<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Legislated verifications<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Damage mapping<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Urgent assessments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Task observations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Instrumentation readings<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Any other field visit. The ability to customize forms directly on site allows to standardize any<br \/>\nconceivable type of technical visit.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">QA\/QC documentation and results (pull-tests, shotcrete panels, grout cylinders, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Mapping\/ geomechanical characterization (collection of Q, RMR, GSI, MRMR, IRMR, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">The database can then be queried by those with access rights to follow-up on the status and<br \/>\nhistory of excavations, pending remedial work, performances, progress on QA\/QC requirements,etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Tablets are synchronized via the network to a central database, which allows to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Reference other documents to each underground visit entry, such as other reports, layouts, photos, movies, plans, sketches, memos, spreadsheets, presentations, stope books, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Place all the relevant information in a single location, making it quickly and readily accessible to everyone allowed to consult it<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Conduct easy and rapid searches on past inspections by date, location, mine coordinates, personnel, activity, type of excavation, conformity status, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Track progress towards meeting GCMP commitments (e.g., on QA\/QC)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Emit customized reports such as lists of completed inspections, conformity reports, QA\/QC test follow-ups, weekly and monthly reports, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">The application is highly flexible and allows far-reaching customization by the site:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">On the workplaces (including their hierarchy, e.g., mine, zone, block, level, lift, sector, stope, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">On the types of inspection<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">On the forms themselves (entries content and layout, possible values, comment sections, logos, language, etc.).
